Looking Back

Last week on Friday, we were in Nashville Tennessee for our BTC2024 conference happy hour, co-hosted with build.cities. We met with many interesting people and brought the regenerative network states conversation to the center of the Bitcoin community.

Virtual Events

We were joined by the founder of Gitcoin, Kevin Owocki for a discussion on Twitter, exploring the metacrisis, with an emphasis on ways we can build our way through it and the role that Regenerative Network States will play.

Looking Ahead! 👀

On August 13th at 5:30 p.m. UTC, we will be joined by the CEO of cLabs, Marek Olszewski, for a conversation on what it means to build long-term and why it’s important if you want to build solutions in both the digital and physical.

Coming up on August 3rd at 5:00 p.m. CST, V DAO will be hosting its first-ever LatAm V Community Meetup at the Prospera flagship city, St. John’s Bay. The event will take place in the garden next to the Beta Building.

There will be light drinks, food, and good vibes.

This is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded people and explore how we can bring regeneration to the heart of network states.

DAO Update

Events Circle

The first Events Circle meeting took place on Tuesday, August 30th, led by the Events Circle Coordinator, Tamara Benetti.

If you want to keep up to date on Circle/Guild/Pod meetings, you can hop into the Community Portal go to the corresponding Circle/Guild/Pod page, and find the meeting minutes available for anyone to read.

Content Pod

Last week the first meeting for the Content Pod was held and focused on strategy for various social media platforms and how to raise awareness about the opportunity for people to host their own V Community Meetup in their local area and get reimbursed for the cost.

Regenerative Resources Pod

The Regenerative Resources Pod also met this week.

The current focus of the pod is to distribute the Typeform below and encourage people to submit regenerative resources for a library that V DAO is curating.

Resources can include podcasts, books, blogs, videos, documentaries, etc., with a focus on regenerative living or practices.
