Lunch & Learn: Bridging Your Land-Based Project On-Chain

Last week, the V DAO Community invited Sam Delesque from Traditional Dream Factory to host a Lunch & Learn on bridging land-based projects on-chain.

Sam shared his wisdom and journey, diving into the challenges, legal structure, on-chain governance systems, and more. We explored TDF and how micro-economies are created within villages and regenerative hubs.

V Community Meetup: Munich Edition

The first V Community Meetup in Munich took place last Friday in a beautiful art gallery, where attendees were introduced to V DAO and discussed regenerative living and network states while enjoying some food and refreshments.

People came prepared for the Oktoberfest festivities, including lederhosen, but the weather didn't cooperate.

The group has already been discussing plans for the next meetup. Munich is a promising future hub for V DAO!

V DAO Digging In: Community Garden Event in Detroit

V DAO was in Detroit this weekend for MCON 3, where top builders and innovators in Web3 gathered to discuss the future of decentralized technology. The conference featured insightful panels on grants, IRL community building, and innovative governance models in Web3.

But the highlight for us was Saturday's "Digging In: Community Garden Event."
Partnering with The Good News Volunteers, V DAO helped clean and prepare a local community garden that provides nutrient-dense food to residents. We even planted several peach trees to kickstart a community food forest, contributing to Detroit’s growing urban farming movement.

As regenerative living gains momentum in Detroit, we’re excited about future collaborations and the potential for a V Hub in this vibrant city.

V DAO’s headed to SoCal!

We’re excited for our first in-person V Community Meetup in beautiful Southern California on Saturday, October 12th at the scenic Mama Tree Ojai—an organic farm and regenerative orchard.

Get ready to indulge in a fresh, locally sourced meal while connecting with fellow permaculture enthusiasts, vegetarian and vegan options will be available. Throughout the day, there will be a series of activities designed to enrich, inspire, and foster connections.

Governance Circle ⚖️

The Circle is defining contribution tracking and setting expectations for DAO contributors. Our tasks board is in development and will soon be live for submissions. Stay tuned for opportunities to get involved!

The Events Circle is planning a dynamic, multi-day event for Devcon 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. We're creating a Regenerative Network State Villa, where attendees can co-work, attend workshops, network, and escape the high-energy conference atmosphere for a serene, regenerative retreat.
